    Banning Smoking in Tobacconists

There are people, organizations, and well-funded groups in every state working diligently to ban smoking in retail tobacconists!!!

    JOIN THE CRA!!! http://www.cigarrights.org/

Sign the Tobacconist Preservation Act (TPA)!!! http://tobacconistuniversity.org/tpa-petition/

it has already happened in Galveston, parts of Kentucky, and the entire state of Delaware... if you fail to sign the TPA and join the CRA, you suck... get off this forum and realize that you do not deserve the pleasure of ever smoking another cigar or pipe again.

You heard the man. My CRA member # is 196728.

After the indoor smoking ban went into affect here in Maryland, Tobacconists were just able to keep their heads above water (for now) but are still under attack from the smoking nazis. One of the regulations the current law puts on them requires Tobacconists to document a certain major percentage of each days business as coming directly from the sale of tobacco, not accessories. One of the premium B&Ms in my area protested with the fact that they have humidors in stock that cost thousands of dollars and that if they sold one, it would account for the majority of that day's income. The anti-smoking zealot from the state capital replied that they would be in violation of the law and be penalized.
They let murderers, robbers, and gang-bangers go here but punish Tobacconists. Its almost like living in an alternate universe.

I'm in, CRA # 175413. Everyone who smokes cigars should be a member, and everyone who respects our US Constitution and our freedoms it affords should join whether or not they smoke cigars! For about the cost of 3-4 premium cigars, why would any cigar smoker NOT join!

TU just added a 30% discount to all Certification dues for CRA members... so CRA membership PAYS!!! http://tobacconistuniversity.org/cert-benefits-cct1.asp

and... if you have not yet, please sign the Tobacconist Preservation Act: http://tobacconistuniversity.org/tpa-petition/

It costs you only a minute of your time and will help us battle onerous legislation which is robbing tobacconists and consumers of their rights to smoke in retail tobacconist stores.

    Not only

did I join CRA, but became the Delaware Ambassador. This last Saturday we held our first fundraiser for the Delaware Chapter at Delaware Park and managed to raise a couple thou in seed money to get established and formalize ourselves. Now onward and upward!! We're ultimately going to attempt to overturn the smoking ban in tobacco shops. Appreciate any help and input from anyone.

Since I'm so close (Maryland) let me know if there is something I can do to help, like try to rally the troops. Perhaps we could come up with a joint Del-Mar event of some kind.

I'm willing to throw something else together to mutually benefit. Contact me personally and we'll discuss it further
