The TOBACCONIST UNIVERSITY® Academic Curriculum is designed to be an open-source document, created by the greatest minds  and resources  in our industry.  Hundreds of years of Tobacconist experience, manufacturer information, and expert advice have been used to compile and create  the TOBACCONIST UNIVERSITY® Colleges.  In addition to the core curriculum, individual cigar makers and experts provide first person accounts, essays, and case studies throughout the course for an advanced and  value-added educational experience.  Since the majority of premium tobacco knowledge is passed on through oral traditions, it is imperative to use these great living resources to animate and enhance the course.  Cigar and pipe making, in particular, cannot be understood on a purely academic or intellectual level;  this knowledge can only be bestowed by those who have lived it.
