Tobacconist Tip
#533
Putting cigars in the refrigerator after freezing them (tobacco beetle treatment) minimizes temperature shock, but it is probably an unnecessary precautionary step. In fact, you can freeze a cigar overnight, let it thaw for about twenty minutes and smoke it right away. True story. Give it a try. Some cigar makers freeze their own cigars to kill eggs and smoke the cigar right afterward.
